Meet the Family Behind TRU Integrative Wellness — and Their Loyal Guard Dog, Bowie 🐾
TRU Integrative Wellness was born from a shared journey—one shaped by entrepreneurship, resilience, and a deep belief in helping people feel their best.
George and Joanna Mirov's story began long before TRU. Both were born in Eastern Europe—George in Bulgaria with Hungarian roots, and Joanna in Poland—and came to the United States with their families in pursuit of opportunity, freedom, and the promise of building something meaningful. Those early experiences instilled in them a deep appreciation for hard work, perseverance, and the ability to create their own path.
Together, they spent nearly two decades building a successful technology company, MXOtech. Joanna founded the company, and George played a critical leadership role in helping grow and scale it over 15 of its 18 years. Side by side, they built not just a business, but a team, a culture, and a reputation grounded in trust, service, and long-term relationships. Their shared leadership ultimately led to the successful sale of the company in 2022—an achievement that marked both an ending and a new beginning.
While their professional lives were rooted in technology, George's lifelong passion had always been wellness. A certified yoga instructor and dedicated student of health, performance, and longevity, he spent years studying and living the principles of balanced nutrition, recovery, hormone health, and sustainable vitality. His personal journey and belief in proactive, integrative care became the inspiration for their next chapter.
Together, George and Joanna saw an opportunity to build something deeply aligned with their values—a place where science, compassion, and personalized care come together to help people restore their energy, confidence, and well-being. That vision led them to TRU Integrative Wellness.

George brings the wellness philosophy and patient-centered mission, grounded in years of personal practice and dedication to helping others live stronger, healthier lives. Joanna brings the operational leadership and experience of building and scaling organizations, ensuring the clinic delivers an exceptional, thoughtful experience for every patient.
At the heart of everything they do is family. George and Joanna are raising three daughters together, along with their beloved Goldendoodle, and are deeply committed to creating a life centered around health, connection, and purpose. They share a love of travel, especially throughout Europe, where their roots continue to shape their perspective and appreciation for balance, culture, and living well.
TRU Integrative Wellness reflects not only their professional experience, but their personal journey—their belief that when people are given the right support, tools, and care, they can feel stronger, more energized, and more connected to themselves.
